Christmas Biscuit Recipes



Christmas Biscuits come in handy over the festive season. With your morning coffee, with your afternoon tea, with your nightcap or for snacks at your Christmas Parties , these homemade biscuits will be a real treat. Much better than the biscuits from the shops. There is nothing to compare with your homemade Cookies .


Christmas Biscuits Ingredients
• 20 oz plain flour
• 16 oz margarine
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• One teaspoon grated nutmeg
• 5 oz castor sugar for Christmas Cookies dough plus extra for dusting





    Method for baking Christmas Biscuits
    1. Heat oven to 180C/gas mark 4
    2. Beat margarine, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl until very smooth
    3. Add flour, until all ingredients are mixed together.
    4. Roll out to 1cm thick
    5. Cut into shapes with biscuit cutters
    6. Place the biscuits on a greased baking tray and bake for about 15minutes until they have turned golden
    7. Remove from baking tray onto a cooling rack and sprinkle with a little castor sugar.




    Cool completely and store in an airtight tin.
    Make stacks of your Christmas Biscuits as the demand will be heavy. Forget about the calories. Christmas, thankfully, only comes once a year. Plan to shed a few pounds in January then you will not have a guilty conscience as you get stuck into a vast pile of your homemade Christmas biscuits. Enjoy!
