None of us can be blamed for needing a Christmas Detox. The richness and frequency of delicious Christmas food and alcohol sometimes overloads the digestive system and it makes sense to be kind to it after the festivities and plan for a Christmas Detox.


A Christmas Detox need not involve any special diet or liquid. The best Christmas detox can be carried out very sensibly by cutting out the extra treats you have been indulging in over Christmas. Couple this with more exercise & eating less without compromising your energy levels will help your body recover from the Christmas ravages!

Also, you need to eat plenty of fruit & vegetables including three daily servings of dairy food. Aim to drive a litre of water for the next mont after Christmas to flush out the system! This high fluid intake will also be brilliant for the skin.

Of course, the most important part of the Christmas detox is abstinance from alcohol which allows the battered livers to regenerate.
