Bolnhurst. The Plough at Bolnhurst is a perfect blend of sumptuous food, service & atmosphere. The latter comes from its Tudor origins shown by its low ancient beams. A perfect spot for pre Christmas drinks, merriment & of course food.

Woburn. The Black Horse gastropub with its terraced frontage from the 1700s adorns the beautiful Bedfordshire village of Woburn. The cosy bar, old leather-upholstered settees, sumptious food makes this a must for Christmas drinks & meals.


Bedford. On the banks of the River Great Ouse sits the well named mock-Tudor pub Embankment pub, right in the heart of Bedford. Never a dull moment with all the river activities, the Embankment is worth a visit this Christmas.
