Bishops Stortford. The Marne Inn Live Music Pub Thorley Park Centre. Lots of activities for Christmas. 


Flauden. A  beautiful Grade II listed country pub, Michelin trained Chef Claude Paillet has helped transform The Bricklayers Arms into an award winning and nationally recognised restaurant. Country walks over the rolling hills of the Chess Valley make for a superb Christmas break.


Frithsden. Set in the unruffled hamlet of Frithsden, nr Berkhamsted; surrounded by National Trust woodland, The Alford Arms is a pretty Victorian pub, full of surprises for Christmas.


Hay-on-Wye. The Old Black Lion colourful 17th Century Inn, parts date back 1300's, close to Lion Gate of the old walled town of Hay-on-Wye. Historical charm and atmosphere for Christmas, Oliver Cromwell stayed at the Inn when Roundheads besieged Hay Castle, a loyalist stronghold.


Reed. Try this famous 16th century inn The Cabinet at Reed for Christms. It sits between Hertford and Cambridge off the A10 in the beautiful village of Reed, within an easy travelling distance of London.


Steeple Morden. For Christmas this year try this cosy 17th Century Inn The Waggon & Horses, nestles opposite the historic church in the picturesque village setting of Steeple Morden.


Titley. The Stagg Inn was built at the meeting point of 2 drovers roads and is part medieval, part early Victorian with a bit of the 1970s.  Today it is rustic in feel with a small bar housing a collection of 200 pub jugs and some very friendly gossiping locals.  There are three dining rooms and many customers choose to eat in the bar itself.


Ware. Jacoby's opened in April 2002 in the historic Churchgate House in the centre of Ware. The building dates back to the 16th century and is Ware’s second oldest building.The restaurant a la carte menu is changed regularly taking inspiration from home and around the world.
